The Infant Department (Nursery, Reception, Year 1 & Year 2) will be presenting a Nativity. All children will be involved.

The Junior Department will be presenting 'Jack and the Beanstalk' - all children will be involved.

Tickets will be on sale from Monday 7th December. We will be charging £1.00 per ticket - the money raised will be used to support all of the Christmas treats that we have planned for the children; a puppet show, extras for the Christmas party and Christmas Dinner and lots more that we can not share with you at the moment...surprises for the children!
Please note we will not be limiting the tickets per family - first come, first served!
All children will be invited to see a puppet show on Friday 4th December (afternoon). This will be presented by Coverdale Puppets. Costs will be met from our School Funds. The show is usually lots of fun!
We will be serving Christmas Dinner on Wednesday 9th December - we would like ALL children to have a school dinner; no sandwiches please. A vegetarian option will be available - please telephone Avril (School Secretary) if you would like to order the vegetarian option for your child.
Our Christmas Party will be on Wednesday 16th December. The canteen is preparing the party again for us this year; we are asking for all children to have a school dinner; no sandwiches please. We will charge the usual rate for a school dinner. The canteen will provide the party food and school will provide lots of extras! Party clothes can be worn for the Christmas Party.
Cost of Dinners: Infants £1.90, Juniors £1.95.
We will be hosting our special Christmas card distribution again this year; each class will have a post box outside their class (from 1st December). We have sked the children to put the Christmas cards for their friends in the boxes (clearly labelled with name/class). We will then sort the cards out and the Christmas Postman will deliver them during the last week of school. There will be a special post box for staff outside my office; the children can post any cards to their teachers / other members of staff there! We look forward to the Christmas Postman delivering the mail!
We are planning to hold a Christmas Fair on Thursday 17th December.

The Christmas Fair will be held during the afternoon and parents will have the opportunity to attend the Fair between 1.00pm and 1.30pm (last year we had sold out by home time - there was nothing left for parents to see!).
Classes will visit the Fair after 1.30pm.
We would appreciate any donations for the above stalls; teddy bears, toys, cakes, books etc.
Year 6 pupils will be helping to organise and run the event. Parents are welcome to help...please let us know if you can spare the time to run a stall.
