Year 6 Leavers Book

This year, we will be creating a Year 6 School Leavers' Book. It will focus on Year 6 pupils and will contain items such as: Pupil Profiles: 'My best school memory', 'What I want to be when I grow up'. Awards Page: Person with the loudest laugh, sportiest classmate, friendliest person etc. Teacher Profiles, Photo Gallery and lots more!

The books will cost £8 each (no profit; actual cost). If you would like to order one, please forward a deposit of £4 to school as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can pay £1 per week - please forward payment to school.

Dinner Money

We have been asked by Wrexham County Borough Council to tighten the system for paying for school dinners. As a result, from Monday 9 May 2011 every child's school dinner will have to be paid for before they can be given a school lunch. (Unless they are entitled to a free meal).

If you have any questions, please contact the school or Steve Jones (Senior Support Officer) - person responsible for payment of school dinners in the County on 01978 298736.

Attendance

Before Easter, our percentage dropped to 95%. We are doing well with our attendance but need to keep it up! Remember, there are treats for classes who manage 100%.

A Look Ahead...

We are excited about our forthcoming trip to Cardiff (18th - 20th May). We extend our thanks to Mrs Morris and Mrs Valentine Jones for attending the two night residential trip...we hope everyone has a wonderful time.

An Update from Years 1 & 2

The children will be starting their new topic 'Time Detectives'. They will be having an archaeological dig and the new role play area is a cave - what fun!

PE Kits

Children in the Juniors need their PE Kits every day now. We are doing lots of PE and preparation for Sports Day!

Snack Money

Please remember Snack Money £1 per week. We can only have so many treats if EVERYONE pays EVERY week.
