Our After School Clubs will shortly be starting for the Juniors:
We give a warm welcome to new members - come and join us (all clubs are free of charge)!
Our school library project is almost finished - we plan an open day in the near future - watch this space!
Our Book Club will be starting after half term - when the library will be available.
Please remember snack money - £1.00 per week and we will provide a healthy snack and drink. Any money remaining 'in the pot' at the end of each term is spent on the children (for parties, trips and treats etc).
Our school fund is running low and as you know, we need reserves for special treats at Christmas! We plan to hold sponsored events/fund raising events to build our school account back up. Mrs Billington's class will be starting first as the class laptop has broken - they need to raise some money to replace it! Please contact school if you have any fundraising ideas!
Mrs Annette Cochrane is teaching Year 4/5W as Miss Williams has started her Maternity Leave. We all wish Miss Williams good luck and await the news of the baby's arrival!
We will be taking our Upper Juniors (4/5W and 5/6W) to Clays Golf Course (Wrexham) on Wednesday 17th September to participate in a bid to achieve the world record for the biggest ever golf lesson - we will be leaving after lunch and returning by 3:15pm. Pupils will need a P.E. Kit (track suits and trainers will be acceptable).
