It is a statutory requirement for children to arrive at school on time, morning and afternoon. Good timekeeping is a discipline that will serve the children well throughout their lives.
If required, the children can arrive at school early (from 8:10 a.m.), to attend our Breakfast Club (the free club is currently funded by the Welsh Assembly Government).
The nature of the difficulties experienced by the children in Y Canol dictate a closer working relationship with parents and other professionals. Therefore they adopt a more flexible approach regarding visitors. All visitors should initially report to the reception in Y Canol.
Children are not allowed to leave the school during the day without permission. In the interest of security and the avoidance of unnecessary interruption to the smooth routine of the school, all visitors are requested to make an appointment, if at all possible. All visitors should report in the first instance to the School Secretary (Main Entrance).
