Early Years: Miss Edwards

What a busy week!!! We celebrated Pancake day, Saint David’s day and World book Day this week. It has been lovely to see the children dressed in such beautiful costumes. What a fantastic effort! As we were off for Pancake day, we had a real treat to start the week! We got to decorate pancakes with different toppings and vote for our favourites. We even created bar charts!! To celebrate Saint David’s day, we learnt about the traditional Welsh dress, created Welsh flags and decorated dragons and daffodils. We went on a parade around our village and delivered some of our crafts.  We had a lovely treat for World Book Day. We participated in our very own ‘Masked Reader’. The children loved guessing who was under the mask. The children all looked amazing in their costumes and we loved sharing their favourite books.  Next week, we are going to be looking at money in our maths sessions and we will be focussing on materials in our topic sessions. We will be sharing the story of ‘The three little pigs’ to support these areas.  Have a lovely weekend.  Miss Edwards
