Key Stage 2: Mrs F Morris

We have had yet another wonderful week in 3/4M!

This week, Miss Lloyd and Miss Roberts both chose two Stars of the Week together because both children have had a superb week. Ellie was our first Star of the Week for always trying her best, and Zach was our second Star of the Week for putting in 100% effort. Well done, Ellie and Zach – keep trying your best!

We have done lots of fun Anti-Bullying Week activities. We started off the week by designing a pair of odd socks for Odd Socks Day – each and every sock was unique and individual; just like us! We also thought hard about what being a good friend truly means. We were lucky enough to have Miss Williams from Year 6 come and join us for an afternoon – we turned into chefs to create a recipe for a good friend. We definitely wowed Miss Williams and she said she would love to come and visit us again!

We celebrated Diwali, coloured in Rangoli patterns and learned all about the story of Rama and Sita. Miss Lloyd was very impressed with our retelling of the story of Rama and Sita – da iawn pawb!

We absolutely loved seeing Mrs Morris via Zoom for our Anti-Bullying assembly today. The children listened attentively and loved that Mrs Morris shared stories from when she was in school. We also watched a video about how we can all work together to be kind to one another.

It’s been another busy week in the world of raffle tickets! Yet again, over 100 tickets were given out… Miss Lloyd will have to go and get another book of raffle tickets soon, the children are all just so well behaved and earning lots and lots of them! Keep it up boys and girls! Our lucky winners this week were Jac and Kayla!

Here we have Ellie and Zach proudly showing off their certificates; Chef Zach and Chef Kayden after a busy afternoon of recipe writing; our class enjoying Mrs Morris’ Zoom assembly; and our lucky Raffle winners, Jac and Kayla.

Have a wonderful weekend everybody and I can’t wait to see you all next week!

Miss C. Lloyd
