Some updates and reminders for you:
After school clubs such as football, netball, craft etc. have now finished until after the Christmas holidays.
Raffle tickets are on sale before and after concerts (£1 a strip) and during the Christmas Fayre. There are some fantastic prizes including a lovely Christmas Dinner Hamper, Sweet Hamper and Christmas Party Hamper. The draw will take place on Wednesday 19th December at 9:30am. Many thanks to everyone who has donated a prize.
Nursery children finish for the Christmas holidays on Thursday 20th December. The rest of the school finish on Friday 21st December.
Children are welcome to wear party clothes on Thursday 20th December and it’s non-uniform on Friday 21st December – no dontations are required. Some children have asked if they can wear their Christmas jumpers on these days and of course they are welcome to if they have them (please do not buy Christmas jumpers especially for school).
There is a charge of £2.35 (Infants) and £2.40 (Juniors) for the Christmas Party food (this applies to Nursery children too).
We have a Christmas Fayre on Tuesday 18th December. Parents are welcome between 9am and 9:30am. Children will then visit the fayre with their classes. Mr Williams has been working extremely hard with the children in Forest School and has made a giant reindeer and wooden Christmas Tree for the fayre. Both are on display in the main entrance and look amazing. The Reindeer needs a name (£1 a go) and the Christmas Tree has it’s own special raffle! Miss K Jones has created a wonderful Chocolate Tombola thanks to all the donations of chocolate from parents and friends of the school. Our Sweet Cups will be on sale along with Toys, Bric-a-Brac, Ukuleles (like new, £10) and lots more.
There is a Christmas Tree festival on at the Church which the children have visited this week and thoroughly enjoyed. Many thanks to Rev. Paulette.
We have lots of treats lined up for next week including a visit from the Christmas Postman and a special guest (who will be checking his list twice!!) Attendance during the last week is vitally important.
Many thanks to you all for your continued support during the year. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
(See you all on Tuesday 8th January).
