Good morning. Today, we will be sending home attendance letters (for those with regular low attendance or if attendance has dipped below 90%). We are obliged to let parents know when attendance dips below 90% however, I completely understand that there can be explanations for the dip in attendance and I have noted all of these following discussions with class teachers today. I have noted when children had a stay in hospital, an authorised holiday or bereavement etc. and I do not want to cause any undue concern when there is a reasonable explanation. Mrs J.
