We have had a lovely week here in Afternoon Nursery. We are loving our new ‘Toy Story’ topic and have enjoyed lots of different activities linked to this – Rex the dinosaur left his footprints in our class and we explored lots of counting and number recognition activities. We made some very sweet ‘sporky’ puppets and have talked a lot about friends and what makes us happy in school. We have focused on Woody and worked together to describe what he looks like. Today we had our first ‘Show and Tell’ session which was a great success. The children all made me super proud doing lovely talking and listening to their friends. This will become a weekly event – every Friday the children are allowed to choose a favourite toy to bring in and show their friends.
