We have been so busy this week in Morning Nursery! We enjoyed celebrating Diwali on Monday and loved exploring all the wonderful colours associated with this festival of light. We have been ‘Super Scientists’ exploring ‘Floating and Sinking’ – the children were so good at predicting which toys would float and sink! We have continued with our ‘Toy Story’ topic by looking at toys from the past – how they were made and what materials they were made from. We then compared these with some of the toys children play with now. In Maths we wore our ‘Maths goggles’ to introduce the concept of ‘More Than’ – we used chocolate fingers which helped immensely with our concentration! Today after the ‘Tempest Team’ had taken photographs of everyone ( who incidentally looked so cute!), we celebrated ‘Children In Need’ and made Pudsey ears and spotty biscuits. It was a lovely end to our week.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
See you all on Monday.
