We are really enjoying learning about the ‘Ancient Egyptians’, this week we focused on how and why Pyramids were made. We made our own Pyramids using salt dough and when they are fully dry, we plan to decorate them with gold paint ( and probably glitter!). This leads nicely to the work we have continued to do on 3D shapes – we explored which shapes could roll/stack or slide. I have some budding Mathematicians in my class! Today we celebrated St.David’s Day by decorating flags, making ‘crafty’ daffodils and eating Welsh cakes for snack! The children looked lovely in their little Welsh outfits!
