Morning Nursery have enjoyed a very busy fun filled week. We are loving learning all about Poland for our topic. We have decorated Polish flags and compared them to our own Welsh flag. We looked at some famous Polish landmarks and tourist attractions, then using a variety of recyclable materials we built our own. We have some budding architects in our class! We really enjoy singing the action song ‘Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ ( ask your child to show you our two special versions!),so we decided to watch a Polish version of this song and the children were entranced! Next week we are going to continue with our topic by looking at the language used in Poland. In Maths we focused on non-standard measure – we used unifix cubes to measure how tall different objects were within our classroom. I am so proud of these little Darlings – Da iawn pawb!
