Since we have returned in the new year, we have been looking at Area and Perimeter in Maths.
I have been so impressed with the children’s learning and today we used all our knowledge to complete a task.
The tables were split into rectangles using masking tape, we then had to measure the sides and use this to work out the area and the perimeter.
The children used all their prior knowledge and worked well in their partners.
