The children have enjoyed learning about their character strengths this week. They have been very honest about the strengths they need to work on, and so we made a small list on Monday to help us remember to focus on them. I am so pleased with how they improved their team work, fairness, self control and kindness. To celebrate their successes this week we had some breakfast treats this morning – pain au chocolat, brioche and Belvita biscuits. In maths this week, we have calculated the perimeter and area of rectangles and squares in a practical way. They really enjoyed working with their friends and using calculators to work out the answers. In dance, the children have continued to impress Amanda with their skills and attitude to learning.
