The children have thoroughly enjoyed their P.E. lessons this week – swimming on Monday and outdoor P.E. today. They all participated with enthusiasm and excitement; I felt so proud of them. We have been focusing on trying to improve our presentation of work and thinking about the pen licenses we would like to achieve this year; Ruby and Ashley earned the Headteacher’s Awards for their excellent efforts. In Maths, we are learning about place value, working with numbers up to a million. Some children had fun playing a game with Mrs Ritchie to consolidate their understanding. We will be playing some more fun games next week on the same topic. On Monday afternoon we are looking forward to a trip to Ty Pawb (forms have been sent home this afternoon).
